Allison and Madelyn are now 5 - not 14!

These sweet little cuties are now 5!!!!!! Oh how I can't believe that my babies have grown so much. They get to go to kindergarten in only a few short weeks and are so excited about it! We have been so lucky to watch these little girls evolve from tiny little 2lb 7oz (Madelyn) and 2 lb 11oz (Allison) beings to these bigger than life little girls. You would never know from looking at them or talking to them that they were preemies when they made there entrance in this world, on July 6, 2004!

Madelyn is the baby of our family by 2 whole minutes, but she takes her role very seriously. She has a tendency to whine a bit, pout with her finger on her lip, or cry to get the desired out come she was looking for. In other words she knows how to push the right buttons. She also is our very funny little girl. She likes to be the joker of the family and sends us all into smiles when her giggle bursts out. She's really good at finding trouble, but even better at wrapping us around her little finger. Madelyn loves music and memorizes any song she sets her mind to. She just happens to stop singing once she sees that we are trying to enjoy it. So we have learned to be non-chalant (sp?) So that we can enjoy her sweet little voice. Madelyn loves to play with her stuffed dog and now her new baby she got for her birthday. They are her precious joys that she loves to take care of and dress and undress all the time. She loves being outside, swimming, being with friends, and eating anything sweet! She is a blessing to us and our family. We love you Madelyn! Happy Birthday!

Allison is 2 whole minutes older than Madelyn, but has been dubbed the "2nd Mom of the family". She is the one that acts like 14 even if she is only 5. She loves to be the boss and some times that is a good thing, but when it comes to her twin- its not so good. Allison is very nurturing and is the sweetest little girl you can ever imagine at one moment, but man in the next moment can be bossy and way over bearing. (hmmm...... I wonder where she got that from!) Allison is a worrier just like her mom, so it tends to make her a bit nosey. She always has to know what is going on, and how she can fix things. Allison is also the best helper ever. She loves to help her mom with whatever it is I am doing, making her an awesome worker! Allison loves her stuffed dogs too. She has one named max and one named Shelby like our old dog Chad and I used to have. In fact Allison greatest loves in life are babies and dogs. We have made sure she understands that there will be no more real babies in our house, but that we can enjoy friends and other cousins that may come along. She is the one in our family who continues to pray for a dog named Max. Yes she's really wanting a dog bad! ( Maybe someday!) Allison also loves music, playing outside, riding bikes, scooters, skate boards, she is really athletic and hopes to try out soccer this fall. Her other passion is drawing/coloring. She is really good at it and could do it for hours! Allison gives the best hugs and is so fun to talk to on the phone! (part of that 14 year old age!)We are so grateful for Allison and blessed to have her be a part of our family! Happy Birthday Allison! We love you!!!!!!

Lindy, I can hardly believe the girls are five...where have the years gone?! They are as darling as their sweet Momma. I am so happy to be able to get a glimpse of them every now and then. Happy Birthday, Allison and Madelyn! Big hugs from the Amonetts! (Sorry, I am having difficulty spelling today...I had to repost.)
